A certified Construction Site Safety Manager is required on new construction or demolition sites 15 stories and above or 100,000 square feet or greater. Site Safety Managers are responsible for overseeing the safety of the work site. They are responsible for enforcing compliance with regulations and reviewing health and safety guidelines to minimize injuries, providing a great benefit to the safety of the workers on the site and the company as a whole.
During the course, students will be introduced to the hazards of working the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site.
