OSHA 30
Federal Agency (USDOL), OSHA recommends workplace safety training for a safe and non-health detrimental work environment, specifically for hazard avoidance on the jobsite. This is highly recommended and for NYC Construction workers, OSHA 30 is a mandatory training requirement now.
Both our OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Construction training is provided both online and in-class settings. It covers specific OSHA regulations that are critical to construction safety in New York. This course meets New York City Local Law 196 requirements for actively proctored online training. It provides both 10 & 30 hours of DOB-approved Site Safety Training (SST) to apply toward your SST card. Workers who successfully complete our OSHA-authorized course will earn their official OSHA card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) at the end of successful completion of these courses. Workers who take OSHA 30 is not require to take OSHA 10, as OSHA 30 covers, OSHA 10 course materials.
Our fully narrated and interactive course is intended as an orientation to OSHA safety training standards. It covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction worksites, placing special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. This training ensures workers are prepared to identify and avoid potential hazards in the workplace. Earning OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is now part of the NYC mandatory SST40 & SST62 requirement now to meet New York City Site Safety Training (SST) standards required by Local Law 196. This course is part of the NYC Department of Buildings SST path for new construction workers who work at jobsites that require an SST Worker card.

Cranes & Derrick Courses
Rigging Worker course is required by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) for all individuals who perform rigging or signaling work in conjunction with the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment, and that are not directly employed by a New York City licensed rigger.
Training shall be required for all individuals who install, remove, use, or operate a mast climber.

Safety Courses
Construction Site Safety Managers are responsible for overseeing the safety of the work site. They are responsible for enforcing compliance with regulations and reviewing health and safety guidelines to minimize injuries, providing a great benefit to the safety of the workers on the site and the company as a whole.
During the course, students will be introduced to the hazards of working the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site.

Scaffold Courses
Our scaffolding courses feature versatile curriculum that cater to both seasoned scaffolding workers, and those who are brand new to the practice. We’ll focus on the polices and standards of OSHA, as well and discuss the DOB. There is also a strong emphasis on preventing hazardous conditions, as well as what to do when conditions become even more dangerous.

Site Safety Training (SST) General Elective Courses
This General Electives training is required for both Workers and Supervisors to complete the requisite number of hours to obtain a Site Safety Training card under Local Law 196.
Trainees will become generally familiar with confined spaces and permit required confined spaces and recognize such spaces and should become aware of administrative regulatory safety requirements associated with confined spaces. This training will not train workers to enter confined of permit-required confined spaces.

Site Safety Training (SST) Specialized Elective Courses
This course is a specialized elective course that can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training Card.
Trainees will become generally familiar with the health effects of asbestos and lead in the workplace, will be able to recognize places and locations where asbestos and lead containing materials may be found in the construction industry, will be able to avoid health hazards associated with asbestos and lead, and should become aware of administrative safety requirements associated with asbestos and lead in the workplace.
